Re: Versatune Install - ECU Locked Error

The ECU certainly has a non-factory tune on it. There are several options, we responded to you by email.

Re: Locked ECU?

GDS access checker is for gen1 Mazdas only. As you have a gen2 MPS, you need to use this tool: https://www.versatuner.com/downloads/Ve ... r-GGDS.exe

Re: MX-5 NC1 1.8 gear ratios

Gear ratios are not changed in the prebuilt NC1 1.8l tune. When you load it in your copy of VersaTuner, you will see 5 speed ratios. When someone with the 6 speed transmission loads the same tune, they will see 6 speed ratios. There's no need for you to change anything, just flash it to your car and...

Re: MX-5 NC1 1.8 gear ratios

When a VersaTuner tune is flashed, a proper base tune for your ECU will be loaded, only the necessary tables will be changed and it will be flashed back. The tune does not change the gear ratios, so they will not be modified.

Re: rookie doubts

Re: E85 Tune

We have not developed an E85 tune, because people like to use different blends, so it's hard to make a one size fits all solution. With the full version you get access to the Tune Editor that you can use to build one yourself, if you have the skills. You can also contact one of our e-tuning partners...

Re: Flat foot shifting on nd miata

Flat foot shifting on an ND2 how does it work? Is the rpm and shift cut configurable? I want to one day wire the clutch switch to a shift knob switch on a sequential transmission for clutchless shifting. Will that be possible? No lift shift (flat foot shift) dynamically reduces the factory rev limi...
