obdlink mx bluetooth problem

Post by g4mula808 »

hey everyone,
i'm having an issue datalogging with the obdlink mx bluetooth. i'm using a surface pro tablet. the obdlink is paired to my tablet and initiating the dashboard works and is showing data. a few minutes go by and a window pops up with device not connected to vehicle. id turn on the dashboard again and it'll work for another few minutes. non wired logging is a little more convenient and was wondering if anyone ran into this problem. thanks!

Could you please let me know what car you have and what parameters you are logging?
What version of VersaTuner are you using?

I’m using version 1.13.6.0, I’m logging mass air flow, actual equivalence air to fuel ratio, absolute load, boost air temp, engine rpm, fuel rail pressure, ignition timing advance, intake manifold absolute pressure, knock retard, vehicle speed, relative throttle position, and wastegate control solenoid duty cycle. Car is a mazdaspeed6

No problem. I tested the OBD link with the torque app and the dashboard Never disconnects. I think that would rule out the OBD link.
