Re: Uninstall Versatune -> P2610
Yes, that's what I did (never had anything else on there anyway), but I want to sell the car now.

Uninstall Versatune -> P2610
Hi, I uninstalled Versatune for inspection and got the error code P2610 which I could not clear (would come back on after 2-3 key cycles). I reinstalled Versatune (fortunately they did not notice) and the error was gone. Now I want to sell my car, so I have to uninstall Versatune. How do I fix this ...

Re: Questions for first tune
So, I am at my tune again, so there are questions again: 1. Again regarding the Requested Load Multiplier, there are two sets. One "with APP increase" and one "Normal". So the first one is obvious, but when does the second one come into account? I've read I should lower the multi...

Re: Questions for first tune
6. I will just raise the knock redard threshold max rpm to 7000 rpm and leave the min load values as they are. 7. So this table does multiply the desired load by X during shifting?! For how long? So between stock and 1 it is just more aggressive during shifting and comes down to drivers preference (...

Re: Questions for first tune
Thank you for your answer. 1. That's what I thought.. 2. Makes sense, I did not think of that.. 3. Ok, I will stay with the stock heat range. Although we have 30°C at the moment, I would not call switzerland a hot climate. And the car is my daily, so the AP is usually no foot rest. 4. Ok, I will res...

Questions for first tune
Hi guys, I am new to all the ECU tuning and I did not want to just use a VT map and call it a day. I will start with a VT map and try to understand the changes to the stock map. For the understanding part I have some general questions and some regarding the VT base map. Car is a MPS6, closed AGR, TI...

Re: help me understand EGR situation
Thank you for this nice explanation!
MPG is not really a concern for me (otherwise I would not drive a MPS). The things I want is no soot in my intake and not damaging any part of the engine.
Is the EGR control accessible in Versatune?

help me understand EGR situation
So, I was reading into the whole EGR situation. There are loads of different opinions and most stuff is about diesel engines.. So correct me if I am wrong, but this is my conclusion: EGR in our turbo petrol cars reduces the exhaust temperature during part throttle by richen the mixture, therefore le...
