Re: Need help understanding Mazdaspeed HPFP problem
Upgrade the HPFP internals. Don't even wait. There's nothing to understand. The factory fuel pump was designed for specific amount of fuel flow and adding mods exceeds its design. Just upgrade the pump and move on in your life. Or, don't upgrade and then we'll see you in a few months asking why the...

Re: My Rebuild Thread
Steve did you ever get this build done? Some beautiful parts going on it. I actually am i the process of slowly rebuilding a K04 with a Taiwanese billet wheel as well. If you finished, did you ever see differences the wheel made?

Need help understanding Mazdaspeed HPFP problem
So I know the stock HPFP is famous for not being able to maintain pressure at high load, as seen in this picture: https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-4f7bb/product_images/uploaded_images/hpfp-failure-3-white.jpg The stock internals tend to drop down below the 1600psi stock. I see on most of the provided...

Highlight the selected cell
Being new to tuning, I often have several tunes up and I compare tables. It gets hard to compare specific cells as they are not highlighted along the axis. Maybe we can highlight the cell like I've mocked up in photoshop below: https://i.imgur.com/jmCptmj.jpg I used a 50% gray gradient. Not sure how...

Re: Hot key or auto log function?
You also don't have to physically keep an eye knock (nor any other parameters) when you have alerts set. This was one of the primary features that had me sold on VT. Also, I have an 8" Windows tab I use to log sometimes when I don't feel like using the laptop. This is attached to a magnetic ve...

Re: Increasing BC DCS, but making less horsepower?
With that in mind, those tables are currently limiting me to around 18-19psi which shouldn't be limiting me making more power anymore. Mind that once you get past a certain load (which means air flow, not necessarily boost) the timing tables are very very conservative. Once you're happy with the bo...

Re: Increasing BC DCS, but making less horsepower?
It's because the manifold pressure is absolute, it takes into account the atmospheric pressure. So for instance, in my area the atmospheric pressure is 14.5 PSI, so if I want to target 20 PSI I would need to put 34.5 PSI in the table. I'd also highly advise you to get an e-tune so you don't blow yo...

Re: Can't use third party hotkey tool to start/stop logging
We have updated how the dashboard page is loaded and now it seems that Macro Deck is working without the need to click the dashboard area. This fix will be included in the next update. Thank you for taking a look! I think my issue is I was clicking on the header for the window at the top, which doe...

Re: Increasing BC DCS, but making less horsepower?
Another question; why is the MAP pressure tables so high? The car only ever sees like 18psi max, so why are the tables in the 30s for psi? Is there some sort of scaling I'm not understanding? Same with the MAX MAP before throttle reduction. Even the Stock limits are 30.75psi. How do I relate this to...

Re: Increasing BC DCS, but making less horsepower?
Ok, no need, found your problem: Absolute Limits -> Overboost protection throttle reduction > set those limits to like 230kpa at least (depends on how far you are willing to go and what is the condition of your engine and turbo, what flow mods you have, and so on), and the fuel cut limits 5kpa more...
