Re: S1 Ghost Port Tune?
RX-8's unlike all the other rotaries before it have an additional rotor seal that makes intake and exhaust overlap an impossibility. So getting anything comparable is physically not possible.

Re: Ignition cut rev limiter possible?
That seems to create a very lean condition on NA after the limiter? Besides not taking it to the limit what is recommended? I increased the limit to 9300 (to shift before it) I also disabled completely Decel Fuel cut (to avoid lean when shifting) but from 2nd gear to 3rd gear at high RPM shift I be...

Re: Want crackles and pops? Here you go.
As for the timing, there is no need to enrich the fuel any further since the DFCO is adjusted in the computer with this tune. So basically, when you are letting off the gas this tune continues to fire the fuel injectors and you will get extra fuel anyways (which causes the cracks and bangs when the...

Re: Decel fuel cut update?
Any updates? Or at least a timeline for 2021 on the next version update?
A development roadmap perhaps?

Re: Ignition cut rev limiter possible?
I would like to also express interest in this. Having 2 step capabilities would be nice.

Re: Throttle relative position
The unit for that table is not really a percentage. Since the RX-8 is drive by wire, it's the stepper motor control value (as pulse width I *think*).
Just like the OMP control.
So 84 is 100%, 42 = 50%, etc.

Re: flame tune
Has anyone actually ran that tune with the -25 degrees of ignition timing, if so how "safe" is it for a rotary and do you have a video of it in action. I'm pretty new to tuning but I've played around enough to get an idea of safe parameters, -25 degrees of ignition timing seems super exce...

Yeah, an update from the developers would be appreciated.

Re: Crackles and bang
Lead timing 1 table:
Load column = 0.125
-20 across the full rpm range
Trailing timing 1 table:
Load column = 0.125
-25 across the full rpm range
You'll still have to play with the throttle when in gear decelerating to hit that engine load range though.
