Re: MPS 3 mk1 downpipe map
Take a WOT log and see what load values you hit at each RPM point (3500, 4000,4500 and so on). Then if you don't have any knock showing at any of those given RPM's, I would add 0.25 or 0.5 in the cell that corresponds to the rpm / load point in the Open Loop Base Timing Extended table. More logging ...

Re: Using the Desired/Actual AFR's to tune the MAF cal
Do you find that your desired afr's in the logs are the same as those targetted in the Open Loop Part Throttle Target table?

Re: Using the Desired/Actual AFR's to tune the MAF cal
When I first purchased VT, Steve told me to log Desired and Actual Equivelance Ratios and use those values to complete my WOT MAF cal. I find that in my logs the Desired Equivelance ratio is the same as what is targetted in my Open Loop WOT AFR Target tables anyhow.

Re: tune is now finished
Glad your happy Dave - it was a pleasure to help you with VT...... the dyno next month should be good
I too used to flow 310-320g/s on the KO4 in cooler weather.

Re: Stratified Tuning
Good info Mituc, looks like it's only the 6 that is affected using VT 1.7.1. Thanks.

Stratified Tuning
I have been asked by Alex from Stratified Tuning to ask anybody that is being tuned or has been tuned by him not to go WOT if you have flashed a map with VT 1.7 or 1.7.1 until he contacts you with further information. If you have access to VT software 1.6.0 then it is advised to flash your tune agai...

Re: My tune so far...... comments please!
TBH I have not noticed any longer spool up time but this was probably helped by having the DNP exhaust manifold fitted at the same time as the BNR.

Re: My tune so far...... comments please!
Lol, just caught up with this. There is NO issues with my MAF calibration and the logs I orginally posted were with a stock turbo. Since adding the BNR Stg2 and the DNP manifold I have enlisted the tuning abilities of Alex from Stratified. My initial results were that I can make 2.6 load until 5000r...

Re: Share your MAF Calibration
Usually the only thing that affects the MAF cal is any change in shape of the pre-maf intake piping or diameter of the MAF housing. Interesting, after having a 3" TBE fitted my MAF calibration was all over the place and the same occurred recently after fitting the DNP manifold and BNR stage 2 ...
