After reviewing some logs this morning I just thought of another one.
The ability to load the tune as a reference whilst reviewing the logs (i.e. so you can see what the actual vs desired values are and see any discrepancies)

Re: Required Features
I'll echo the requests for additional table editing functions such as interpolation, the ability to compare tunes and the ability to use/import the base tune read from your car when VersaTune is first installed.

Re: Map editing
I just applied a 1.11 multiplier to the gear load tables in the base 93US/98EU tune from 2500rpm and up (keeping things nice and conservative below that), it looks like the highest value in those tables is now 1.931 at 3-4k rpm in 4th gear, I'm only targeting around 1.65 to 1.876 at 2500rpm dependin...

Making a copy of the stock (Mazda) tune to review
Is it possible to create a copy of the stock tune after the backup process so it can be reviewed in the tune editor?

Re: Map editing
Been following this thread with interest as you're doing pretty much exactly the same as I am, good discussion. I've been wondering how far to dial up the loads in the lower RPM range too, might try using the same values you have altered yours by. I did like having the choice of frying my tyres in 1...

Standalone logging with the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 and microSD
A feature I think would be useful is the ability to record log data directly to the microSD slot on the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 pass through device without needing to have a PC hooked up to the car. Perhaps having an option where in the VersaTuner software you could select which 'dashboard' you wish to...

Re: Versatuner for the Mazda 3 MPS
Just got back off holiday to find my beta link, had a olay around and I must say it looks like a nice interface. Got my cable on order, hopefully it will arrive next week so I can get cracking! I need to do a bit more reading of abilors tuning guide. I've been reading Abilor's guide and the help PD...

Re: Versatuner for the Mazda 3 MPS
Have you had anyone try it out on the Australian 3 MPS? Do you need any Australian testers? I'm sure many of us over at OzMPSclub.com would be very interested in this as we can't use the Cobb AP on our cars. Many of us are using Hypertech for an out of the box solution but the next step after that a...
