There's a HTP 4" MAF CAL which Stratified says it's beta but as a baseline will work just fine.

Re: Built MPS3 gen1 KR issue

Just like i expected. Nothing wrong with the internals. We did find the timing to be too advanced. 2 teeth to be exact. This was done by another shop when they replaced his vvt actuator. Now reassembly and setup the timing correctly. Then back to tuning IMG-20150808-WA0007.jpg IMG-20150808-WA0006.jp...

Re: Built MPS3 gen1 KR issue

Did you find anything that worth mentioning? Are you going to rebuild it? What's the plan? I will report my findings ASAP, dis-assembly of the motor planned for tomorrow. Sad to have to pull a newly built motor :banghead On a side note, the motor sounds fine. No audible KR or any funny business. An...

Re: WasteGate DC Setup 101: Request.

Yes, there is, but you're not going to like it. ( http://obdcon.sourceforge.net/2010/06/about-pid-calculated-load-value/ ) LOAD_ABS = [air mass (g / intake stroke)] / [1.184 (g / intake stroke) * cylinder displacement in litres] Derivation: air mass (g / intake stroke) = [total engine air mass (g/s...

Re: Load targets

Even if you're on the stock K04 there is no reason why you should not command 100% WGDC at least up until 1.5k rpm. Not even the K04 can't boost too much there (not even at 2k but it can start boosting a bit there if you open up the exhaust). Looks like I will have to take the car to Mazda... I can...

Re: Load targets

On the USMD Mazdaspeed6, the BCS is fed through the 5A Fan fuse. Also on the USDM MS6 with stock BCS DC table, the BCS DC will go to 100% with key on engine off and pressing the accelerator pedal to the floor. Do you have 100% DC set at 500 RPM like the stock table? Look where the main relay feeds ...
