PID values / equations
Hi Guys Hope you are doing well. Wonder if someone could maybe help me out or point me in the right direction. I'm busy with an Android Application, purely for monitoring and logging. I know I can use Torque with the MS plugin but I have some other features that I want to add for a more automated ex...

Re: bosch 3 bar MAP sensor
Hi there. Thanks for the reply. We had the owner of the car in question switch the wires around. We found the 2 diagrams online and compared them. Seemed as if they were switched around. After testing the results where the same. But now the AP and onboard bosst gauge does not read boost. Interesting...

Hi Ugnius
Please see the comparison of boost(bar) vs map voltage in the attached image.

Re: bosch 3 bar MAP sensor
Hi Ugnius
Thanks for the reply. When I noticed the low value last night I did the calculation and noticed kPa values of around 50kPa. It seems as if the voltage flatlines yes.

Re: bosch 3 bar MAP sensor

They soldered harness onto the new map sensor. When logging he is seeing around max 0.9V MAP. Now Steve told me last night tha...

Re: LTFT +20 HELP FIND THE ISSUE.
Hey Rix, sounds hectic bud. This might sound very stupid to some but have a look at ur boost gauge at idle. A lower / higher reading than normal will indicate various issues. I think i sent everyone an email about it a few months ago. As far as i can gather, the issue should be after the maf and pre...

Re: ignition timing
From my general understanding is that u would advance ignition timing after max torque. Timing increases as the rpm increases and decreases as the load increases. U need to check if u are making more power when the timing is changed. If not, then u need to stop advancing. Smackin a GTI while on my i...

Re: Timing Tables
My concern is with the cl/ol transistion tables. I have no idea which table does what. It says the table is used with OL transitions but no timing is changed there. Only in the Normal and Overload Timing tables. Arent the CL/OL tables suppose to be more involved with going WOT? Im sorry for sounding...
