Re: Map Issue
I have been told a lot of different stories when it comes to that. One mechanic said 2-3 days as he needs to pull the entire motor out and another said he can have it done in a day. Here in SA no one is willing to work for their money and when they do work they charge an arm and a leg. Will cost me ...

Re: Map Issue
Thanks for the advice. Took a run now with BCS DC about 5% and the car holds around 235kpa with 0.35KR at a load of 2.1. The per gear loads are set at 1.74 but still getting over 2. Will try and get that spring in as soon as possible. Just confirming, 1-2 degrees below stock and then advance if no K...

Re: Map Issue
So can I run a load of well over 2 as long as the engine sees little to no knock at this altitude? I am capped by turbo flow and fuel supply.

Re: Map Issue
@Mituc We at 85kpa pressure so 200kpa is 1.15 bar boost. Our stock tune in RSA for our altitude and crap fuel we peak at 1bar and drops off very quickly. On our stock tune we peak power at 5000rpm or there about. I have not done upgraded engine internals yet and the chance of getting a bad batch of ...

Re: Map Issue
Thanks Steve, I took your advice with the bicycle pump and gave it a go. Everything seems fine, at about 18psi it moves and goes through what I would say is 30* at minimum. Guess I will need to port the passage.

Re: Map Issue
The BNR 2 has an upgraded spring in the WGA, but can't find the exact figure. If it is the Wastegate, can it just be replaced? In South Africa they have no strict conditions on cats, so all our DP's are catless. I actually want to control my boost and stop it at about 200kpa, yet at 0% BCS DC it spi...

Re: Map Issue
Thanks a lot for the feedback so far Mituc. My issue is that my WGDC is set to 0 in my tune. I will post my tune as soon as I am at my laptop. I am seriously considdering a professional tune as I am running into different issues I cannot seem to fix. Like you say, at 5500ft its a different game all ...

Map Issue
Howsit guys, Been using VT for some time now, but recently did further upgrades to my car and now things are not going well. I have posted a 3rd gear and a 4th gear log of a WOT run. The 4th gear log is partial as I hit a fuel cut due to overboost conditions. The map I am using is the Base 95EU map ...
