Re: Sluggish 4th Gear

honestly i feel that the KR in those logs actually caused the desired afr to differ from actual afr, because the ecu started to dump in more fuel to recover from KR. So I would not touch the maf cal, until we have a run which is KR free as much as possible, and then try and correct the differences i...

Re: Sluggish 4th Gear

it seems that you are hitting quite a good amount of boost of 20+ psi with quite high ignition timing. That also could be another cause of KR, especially if the weather was hotter outside, resulting in higher BAT's.

Re: Another UK member

latest logs and my tune.. hitting about 2.3 to 2.35 loads in 3500 to 5000 rpm. I am making about 270whp and 305awtq with 1.0 correction factor in virtual dyno. Can you guys please take a look and suggest any modifications? I am getting a bit of knock retard now and then as well..hopefully Steve or a...

Re: Another UK member

cheers mate.. will take a look. its a fine line between reducing wgdc and accel/decel tables so that there are no boost spikes between shifts, and ensuring that the you hit targeted loads under individual gear pulls. its a bit frustrating..lol

Re: Another UK member

not really. as a matter of interest, what percentages do u increase the wgdc table to match the targeted loads? so if am reaching target load 2.1 with the stock grimmspeed tables (BCS DC Base), and if i want to target 2.2 load now, how much would you push the wgdc, between 3500 to 5000 rpm range?

Re: Another UK member

Hi, I am targeting 2.2 load but I am struggling to reach them. When i was targeting 2.1 load, my car was reaching them easily, even in 4th gear at about 18 psi. but now, it makes about 21 psi, with WDGC going up to 51%, and barely makes 2.2 load at about 4500ish rpm. Can you please take a look at my...

Re: help with WOT Logs

yup.. maf voltage is better than g/s airflow values, because u can aggravate the afr leanness or richness accidentally when using g/s values. so if your tune is lean by 1% at 200g/s cell value, then we cannot be sure that subtracting 1% from the table will not aggravate the leanness.. hence the volt...

Re: help with WOT Logs

Subtract actual equivalence ratio from desired equivalence ratio, and add 1 to the difference. Then find out the maf voltage at that point, go to maf table 1, and multiply the difference at that maf voltage. E.g: At maf voltage 3.5v, actual equivalence ratio is 0.8 and desired equivalence ratio is 0...

Re: Another UK member

I had reduced the Requested Load Multiplier accel/decel tables for 3rd and 4th gear to near 0.8 (min values) and still getting spikes in 3/4 gear shift. I had not modified BCS DC Base table.. it was the same table in the base Grimmspeed Interrupt tune. Justin and me are working on playing with BCS D...

Re: Another UK member

not sure what u mean mate.. its set up in the usual Grimmspeed 3 port mode as mentioned on the website.. on second thoughts.. do i need to lower the wgdc instead of APP increase tables, to reduce the spikes
