I'm in the process of tuning my car with Carl at Ryan Rotary Performance and the second tune they provided, resulted in this error code. They seem to think it's my car, but I don't have this problem with any other tune.

I'm in the same boat, new to tuning and trying to figure all this out. I appreciate the step by step instructions above and I'm going ahead and give it a shot.

However, I am in Arizona. Would someone kindly direct me to this MazdaManiac you speak of? He's banned on rx8club.

Yes, we are working on that. Crackles and pops will come to RX-8, too.
