Re: LTFT stays at 0 no matter of what

I'm on my phone here so I will be brief. There are several areas where the RX8 ECU builds long term fuel trim. It is not necessarily a bad thing to have zero LTFT. People will often try and achieve 0% LTFT at idle. Some keeners try for the entire Maf/Load range. In short it matters where you are loo...

Re: New Discord Community

Ahhhhhh I'm not by any means a Discord Jedi ... I only follow like 2 groups Universe Today and the Why Files. I'm not able to find anything RX8 on the discoverable servers, using your posted group name or any variant thereof. Help a newb out what am I missing? Shouldn't the server link look somethin...

Re: Idle Tables

I found this in the Cobb Tuning Access Tuner Race PDF. If you ever used the old Cobb ATR tuning software it is very very similar to VT. Personally I don't find Cobb's description very helpful, but I thought I would throw it out there for you. Idle Speed Table description – A single row of target idl...

Re: RX-8 4Port Manual Tune

Sorry, so what you're saying is you have purchased a copy of VT for your 4 Port manual, installed VT on the car and yet VT
doesn't provide you with a base map to begin your tuning?

Is that correct?

Sorry I was AFK on vacation, and not paying attention to the posts.

For a 55 shot I used the following jet settings:
Nitrous Jet = 0.032
Fuel Jet = 0.017

No timing adjustment.

Sorry dumb question.
Which load table? Volumetric Efficiency, Closed Loop Max Load, Max operating Load?

I've only ever needed to adjust the Maf Scale or Injector Size to manipulate the idle.

Re: Nitrous? Does it need tuning?

LOL that made me laugh. I guess I hoped and prayed. The arming switch was within easy reach I guess I could have hit that if the Nitrous solenoid stuck open. Or ride'er out! :bigeyepop FWIW I found the old dyno's if your interested. My base run dyno doesn't have a date, I would guess it was performe...
