Can you alter dwell for stock coils or are they already at there optimum/limit??

So I sorted out my rattle issue! It was a secondary shutter rattle from what I can make out, I installed a new tune, pops and bangs but altered the ssv opening back to std also altered fan temp settings and upped idle but these are by n by.

Engine mounts are fine as I just had one off to fit headers, I’ve been told that the knock sensor on rx8 is hyper sensitive, either way it does the same thing on various tunes so not sure what it could be, maybe it has always done it but now I have quieter exhaust I can hear it. So I just had a hi flow cat fitted and new exhaust which is 3”. Car is much quieter now but now I’ve noticed a weird rattle, pinging like noise at about 3500 rpm I don’t think it’s pinging as the knock sensor should alter timing and inherently stop the noise but it doesn’t go away and always around ...

Hi , so i just had a hi low cat installed as my resinator spat its guts and sounded like crap! i have been comparing tunes and noticed they are very similar wether it has a cat or not so wondering if cat/no cat/hi flow cat makes any difference to the tune you use. my mods are AEM CAI Odula headers 2...

Mentioned you would post version for aem intake, no cat, stock coils but I I only see the original and the last coil one am I missing something? Cheers
