Re: Share your MAF Calibration

Ok, cool. I drive around 150km a day and I flashed that Cal. about 4 days ago so hopefully the LTFT's should have well and truly settled now. Also I'm assuming the large differences in ambient temps will make a diff to the calibration considering were now approaching 35 degrees C. I'll do a couple o...

Re: Share your MAF Calibration

Ok, guys, in my search for smoothness I found the ultimate trick. As you all know the MAF g/s readyngs, commanded versus actual AFR readings, and so on, are delayed or at least not perfectly in sync because of various reasons: - OBD scan delay; - takes a while before the actually metered air produc...

Re: Adjusting Load Targets per gear.

Cheers for the quick reply Steve. I understand the concepts to do this but I'm extremely time poor so I may just have to shell out and have it tuned at the shop.
I would have thought that a load value of 2.0 even with a hpfp on my mods would have been excessive? Maybe I'm wrong.

Adjusting Load Targets per gear.

Ok so I have beeb running the High load tune for a month or two now and I travel 150kms per day for work, so I think plenty of settling time. I'm not wondering if there is anything else to be had from the load targets on a stock MPS. The only mods are Cobb SRI and second Cat delete. I get no KR on t...

Re: MAF Calibration 101

In australia there is apparently no ethanol in our 98+ blended fuels from BP and Shell yet a number of other chains do sell 5% blend and 10% blend but are required by law to show that blend in the grade of the fuel at the pump. So for example at Caltex's here we see 'Standard Unleaded' - no ethanol ...

Re: MAF Calibration 101

Ok, is there an easier way to do the MAF cal? I'm using a stock intake and I've spent 7-8hours in excel spreadsheets and still got naf all filled in the MAF correction table. Is there an easier way to do this or am I being too padantic. Oh btw how the hell do you blend the gaps in the table??? Is th...

Re: MAF Calibration 101

Do you guys flash your desired tune to the car before doing a maf cal or do you leave it stock tune and then copy the maf cal table 'to' your desired tune for flashing or does it not matter?
