Re: Under boosting on new turbo
Another question for you, what is the actual max load I should ever target? Obviously keeping the car within reasonable torque and power, can you target loads of up to 2.8 if needed, even on stock block? Or is it a general trend that a certain load like 2.5 you will be reaching the max power the sto...

Re: Under boosting on new turbo
One more question, as you stated earlier the throttle only opened to around 74%, how can I get it to open more if possible?

Re: Under boosting on new turbo
I have ordered a Grimmspeed 3-port so waiting for that to come in. For now, I'll just run gate pressure. Thanks for your help, I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: Under boosting on new turbo
I'm still using the stock 2-port BCS on the car. I have it so a line runs from the turbo actuator to the boost source on the compressor housing of the turbo. In the middle of that line, there is a T-piece which routes to the 2-port BCS.

Re: Under boosting on new turbo
Just an update, I've tried re-routing all the boost connections to the actuator and nothing changes, always running 1 BAR no matter the situation. I unplug the actuator and boosts 20psi+.
Currently waiting for my 3-port BCS to come, hopefully that fixes everything.

Re: Under boosting on new turbo
Alright I'll give that a try, I disconnected the wastegate actuator pipe to force it closed (re-enact 100% wastegate DC) and boost went to 20psi at 60ish% throttle so I know the turbo's capable.

Re: Under boosting on new turbo
Don't mind the account change, can't get into my other one for some reason.
Here is a 3rd gear pull for you, one with 0% wastegate and the other using 80% wastegate with minimal to no change.
