Re: HPFP Pressure low after upgrade
Hand tight? I'm not sure on what forum you've read that, but you should remember how it was tightened when you took it off and take that as a point of reference. It takes a vice and a lot of force applied to a 30cm wrench, that's a little more than just hand tight... :) it was on a post on mazdaspe...

Re: Proper EGR delete
question about this @Steve @ VersaTune - is the reason that EGR increases low load cruising fuel economy simply because the exhaust gases that it puts into the cylinders basically takes up some of the room in the cylinder and effectively reduces the "effective displacement" of each cylind...

Re: MAF Calibration 101
two things i'm confused about here: Honestly the way you ask these questions makes them impossible to answer. So what you can do is to find your MAF calibration in the "Share your MAFcal" thread. i'm really sorry. i'm autistic, and i don't always communicate in the best way for others to ...

Re: MAF Calibration 101
two things i'm confused about here: 1. the worksheet only shows an open loop chart, there is no chart for closed loop operation. I am assuming that I just make a copy of the file and use the same chart for both closed and open loop operation? 2. in the instructions, you say that you want to drive un...

Re: MZR DISI 2.3l Turbo Load Targeting Logic Explained
are you able to elaborate at all? i'm trying to understand how the ECU is affected by the BCS (which is the same as WGDC right?) Like to me I am just struggling... why is the BCS DC needed explicitly when there are boost limits and targets?? And if it is needed, is the BCS DC really something that s...

Help me understand boost tables vs. WGDC tables
So I'm super confused here. I've been reading everything I can about tuning, and I'm getting a pretty damn good handle on how these engines are managed, but one thing that still eludes me is what the purpose is for the wastegate duty cycle tables, since we have all of the various boost tables??? I m...

Re: HPFP Pressure low after upgrade
well i figured out the issue. i had not tightened the spill valve enough. i had read on another forum that you only want to tighten it a little more than hand tight, so i did that, and had issues. i looked over everything else, actually pulled it apart and rebuilt the hpfp again because i had not re...

Re: MZR DISI 2.3l Turbo Load Targeting Logic Explained
Are there other diagrams showing how other aspects of the ECU function, such as with timing, boost control solenoid duty cycle, etc? Like I assume there are other inputs to BCS than just what's shown on this diagram, or no?
