Bug in Base93EU/98EU Octane High Load Map?

Hi, I am a previous Versatuner user and was extremely familiar with version 1.8.5 however I sold my car, I have now purchased another Mazda and have downloaded the latest version of Versatuner 1.9.5 and I have noticed some differences between the Base93US/95EU Octane High Load maps between the versi...

Re: new car but previous versatuner user

Hi Steve,

Is there anyway I could get a trial version of versatune to try and install to see if the ecu is locked?

Thanks

new car but previous versatuner user

Hi All, I sold my original mazda 3mps a couple of months ago and regretted it the day after so I am looking at getting another one. I had versatuner installed on my old car and loved it and I would definitely want it on my new car. However, I have a feeling that the car I am looking to purchase has ...

Closed Loop Open Loop Load Threshold 1,2,3,4,5

Hi All, I have a question about the CL/OP Load Threshold settings defined in the <Absolute Limits> section of the map editor software. What I'd like to understand is what the numbers after the parameter names refer to? If there was 6 I would assume they are related to gear but since there is only 5 ...

Re: Ignition Timing Advance Tables - Logic?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the feedback. OK, so the Max table is actually the target for the ECU to achieve starting at the base value, regardless of +ve or -ve values!

Good to know, thanks!

Strange Part Thottle KR

I have been performing some additional logs and noticed some KR when coming off part throttle and in CL mode. I understand that the ignition timing is advanced until either it reaches the value defined in the max ignition timing table or until KR is detected. For both logs that I have taken I am see...

Ignition Timing Advance Tables - Logic?

Hi All, I have started to "play" with the versatune software more and more over the last couple of months and need some clarification on the logic utilised for the ignition tables. For CL and OL ignition tables there are: Base Timing Normal Extended Base Timing Normal OverLoad Max Ignition...

New User - Setting Idle Speed and Cold Start

Evening All, I am a new owner to the MPS scene and puchased the Versatune software only a week ago. I'm still fiddling with the software and trying to identify the critical parameters within the Tune Editor, however I want to reduce the Idle RPM during cold start. I have selected "NEW" fro...
