Agreed with this. I have disconnected my secondary O2 sensor personally.mituc wrote:If you are commanding lean AFRs, leaned than stoich, as long as the secondary O2 sensor is connected the ECU will try to bring it back down to stoich.

Re: Need help understanding Mazdaspeed HPFP problem
There's nothing to understand. The factory fuel pump was designed for specific amount of fuel flow and adding mods exceeds its design.
Just upgrade the pump and move on in your life. Or, don't upgrade and then we'll see you in a few months asking why the motor is blown.

Re: Increasing BC DCS, but making less horsepower?
It's because the manifold pressure is absolute, it takes into account the atmospheric pressure. So for instance, in my area the atmospheric pressure is 14.5 PSI, so if I want to target 20 PSI I would need to put 34.5 PSI in the table. I'd also highly advise you to get an e-tune so you don't blow you...

Re: Closed loop timing table missing?
Here's the log data for the picture that I posted. I definitely feel like something is either missing or not right as the timing doesn't follow what the tune says. I'm willing to work with a developer if they want to experiment with things or need more logs/info.

Re: Closed loop timing table missing?
What's the point of the Max timing tables if the ECU doesn't honour it? I figured that the max tables were meant to be a hard limit, while the normal tables were the baseline that the ECU would start with to increase the timing to the Max values until knock is seen.

Closed loop timing table missing?
My car is a Canadian 2011 Gen2 SPEED3. I did some data logs today and noticed knock when on the highway cruising. I know part throttle knock doesn't really matter as the car is trying to maximize timing for best fuel economy and emissions. However, when I look at the log and compare the data points ...

Re: Saving/Using Maps from Cloud Server
The way I envision this isn't to force all saves to be like this, but to allow people the ability to if they want.

Saving/Using Maps from Cloud Server
Would it be possible to add support for editing/saving our tunes to a server/cloud service? So an example would be Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive or a personal server? It's a bit of a pain exporting the tune, transferring it to my other computer and then importing the tune (rinse and repeat to go ...

Re: CL - OL Transitioning
If you're running lean or even rich at WOT, then your MAF calibration is off. When you're WOT the car is in open loop, so the MAF cal needs to be spot on.
