Re: Car will not follow commanded AFR
How lean are you commanding? Also have you played with commanded spark advance at these low loads? When I had an AP, I did a cross country drive with lean afr at cruise RPM/Load and was getting better gas mileage than my wife's Ford Fusion (4 cylinder) and consistently getting over 30 mpg when filli...

Re: Car will not follow commanded AFR
Thanks Mituc, I finally got around to pulling the secondary o2 sensor last week, and the car now follows the leaner AFR under low load situations.

Live Tables
Any way to add live tuning tables. Started tuning on flashpro and this feature is pure money. You can only live edit a few tables at a time, but it saves a ton of time when trying to dial in fuel tables without having to reflash with each revision.

Re: Ignition Timing on DI Engines
Bringing this back from the dead. But here is a link to rfinkle2's base ignition timing for our cars. I have always started with this and made adjustments based on logs. https://web.archive.org/web/20191115104200/http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/forum/f9/i-m-still-not-sure-how-max-137280/ post 24 sta...

Re: Car will not follow commanded AFR
Bringing this thread back from the dead. Updated to 1.13.144 today and glad to see they added the ability to disable p2096. This CEL was a nuisance for us lean burn guys. I haven't explored the software for other possible changes, but maybe they fixed the issue with not following commanded age too? ...

Re: Car will not follow commanded AFR
Update on the tune. When the tune was still fresh, the car was commanding 1.021, but as soon as everything settled, commanded AFR went back to 1 Make sure that all your tables for closed loop are commanding the same lambda. 1.021 isn't that significant of a change TBH. I'd say anything less than 1....

Re: Car will not follow commanded AFR
For whatever the MS6 doesn't like to follow commanded AFR above 1 lambda. My guess is there are tables that have not been discovered, or we don't have access too, that affect the overall trim. I still command 1.12 lambda at cursing, and consistently only get 1.08 or so actual AFR. This happened on m...

Re: Car will not follow commanded AFR
The actual vs desired is spot on. The issue is it doesn't match what I've commanded in my tune. Ive dialed in 1.14 lambda and the ECU is commanding 1.11

Re: ECU targeting Knock tables AFR in place of No Knock tabl
set all your fueling tables identical to prevent table hoping issues. the Ecu will pull fuel for knock regardless of what is in your knock tables.
