USA spec SkyActiv-D is not currently supported by VersaTuner, but we may add support for it in the future.

Re: OBD interfaces

1. In VersaTuner all supported hardware interfaces offer the same functionality. J2534 based vehicle interfaces (Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 or Mongoose Pro) are slighly faster than OBDLink SX. OBDLink SX is faster than OBDLink LX/MX/MX+. That means it will take slighly shorter to reflash an ECU or you wil...

Re: Gear ratio change

As far as I know the speedo reports the speed that it gets from the ABS control module, not from the engine control unit. The error in the speedometer readings is a "feature" and the readouts are always higher for liability reasons. I am not aware of a simple way to reflash the ABS control...

Re: No "calculated load" even though its a standard PID?

In which platform did you see that PID? I don't think we include it in any platform, because it is of limited usefulness and will become inaccurate as soon as you tune your engine. The ECU uses absolute load in all of its internal calculations.

Re: New member

You can try our prebuilt High Flow Down Pipe tunes, but they require 98 octane. Or you can contact an e-tuner and get a custom tune.

Thank you, these are valid points. I have added them to our todo list and I hope we will be able to address them later this year.

Re: Difference between 1.08 and 1.06 and 1.02?

They were all developed iteratively. Each later version tries to squeeze out more horsepower. 1.08 should be the most powerful one, but in some regions with high ambient temperatures, the exhaust gas temperature may hit the limiter and cause a fuel cut. If you encounter that, you can switch to 1.06.
