Re: Pops and crackle not working

It's not super loud with a stock exhaust
Log injection amount and/or injector pulsewitdh to ensure that decel fuel cut is not happening.
Log rpm, absolute load, and ignition timing to ensure that ignition timing is around -20* when load is below 0.1875 and rpms are above 3000.

Re: ECU Swap - No voltage from rear 02.

VersaTune does not facilitate ECU swaps on Mazdaspeed3. You would have to take it to the dealer to get a new or used ECU initialized and immobilizer/keys programmed. The dealer will be hesitant to program a used ECU, although it can be done. Check continuity from the ECU pins to the O2 sensor plug. ...

Re: New VersaTuner RX-8 tune published

After further testing, the octane requirement was lowered to 91/95. It is the same tune.

Re: P0335 code

We're running out of tables that could possibly be the problem.
Here is another to try.

There are only a few differences between those tunes. I made a few changes. Please try this one.

Please try this tune. I set dwell to stock.

Did you have any issues with any other tunes?

Re: 09 CX7 Pops/Crackle

CX-7 doesn't have the zero accelerator pedal fuel cut disable. You can do cracks and pops, but it will require you to hold your foot on the pedal ever so slightly. If the accelerator pedal position hits zero, it will fuel cut and there won't be any pops.

Re: Tune development

The 150-175 tune is the OEM 175 hp tune. This beta should be more power than that.

The 1.06 and 1.08 have higher peak torque, but hit limits and tend to oscillate in hot weather. I'm looking to find some happy middle ground between 1.08 and this latest beta tune with max torque and no oscillation.
