Do not put any tune on it until you fix it. You should take a few logs though and see what changes. The replacement used injectors seem to have fixed everything. IMO reducing EGR amount (as SH engine's deNOxing only through uncommonly cooled EGR) would be good step to improve combustion efficiency and reduce EGT mentioned in your last article .
