Re: Boost/Fuel Cut & Overboost Code
It could be an over load condition. Please share the map here if you're comfortable to do so.
Alternatively you're welcome to mail it to me to have a look

Re: Boost tuning with VersaTuner
Boost is a measure of how much air from the intake manifold is making it into the engine. 21 PSI on a K02, K03, GTX4088, through the same intake manifold, same BAT, at the same RPM and intake valve advance, and the same barometric pressure is actually exactly the same flow in grams per second or lb...

Re: Boost tuning with VersaTuner
So you can load tune and set a boost limit in case during certain conditions the boost may go above some value you don't want to cross (piping, turbo speed and overheating, and so on) - and this is the OEM and classic approach, or you can boost tune but set a load limit in case with less boost than...

Re: Boost tuning with VersaTuner
However, mind that the MAP/boost targeting tables actually works. The table information says at the bottom "This is an operating mode only used during development" How do these come into play? From what I understand, the Over Boost Protection tables will ensure boost (and subsequently loa...

Re: Ignition Timing on DI Engines
https://www.versatune.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17 My friend came across this. I'm surprised I missed this topic. The last entry before mine was in 2010. 10 years later and no update (solution)? I tend to think it's tune related and I think I figured this out while I was tuning my CX7. I need to ma...

Re: Ignition Timing on DI Engines
What loads are you seeing in your 3 MPS @mituc? You're probably running some sort of aux fuelling there but @ 32psi you should see well over 2.5 load in your logs.

Re: Ignition Timing on DI Engines
Actually some people switched from cobb AP to versatuner exactly because versatuner allows tuning past load 2 in some critical tables whch the AP doesn't (or didn't up to a point) allow directly, only by interpolation. Sorry for the multiple replies but I also suddenly remembered this - the Gen2 lo...

Re: Ignition Timing on DI Engines
I'm not sure the versatuner limitation mentioned in that screen capture have anything to do with the load cap limit with over time I came to think it has something to do with the tune itself. Actually some people switched from cobb AP to versatuner exactly because versatuner allows tuning past load...
