Re: APP not going above 67%. Newbie needs help.

Fwiw, I don't think a Pu is capable of reporting 100%. With mine only doing 68 I set out to resolve it. There is a bump stop on the back of the gas pedal arm that appears to be there to keep pedal travel to a given stopping point. After much rolling around under the dash and contemplating I surmised...

interesting thought about AP to VT switch

It is my thought that the "correct" way would be to unmarry the AP and then go forward from there, and it`s honestly the plan. But since my tune on the AP is already pretty dialed, would VT be able to read it off of the ECU? Or would all hell break loose if I went to install VT over the AP...

I will add it to the list of custom code enhancements.
it would be a remarkable addition. Game changer level.

Re: built in AFR failsafe?

But it doesn`t, really. It signals the pump to run the commanded duty cycle but it gets zero feedback FROM the pump, other than a completely open or shorted circuit (as long as the pump voltage is where it`s supposed to be the controller is happy). Handy, for sure, but it does not in any way measure...

Re: built in AFR failsafe?

I have the coolingmist system. Their failsafe is garbage. It does have a fault trigger if it senses out of the ordinary pump voltage (too high or too low) and I can trigger the GA with that. Also going to wire up the opposite and have the GA trip a relay for my methanol solenoid when it triggers so ...

built in AFR failsafe?

Before I spend more than a couple hundred dollars on the AEM AFR failsafe gauge, can we set up VT to cut throttle and/or wgdc if afr goes lean at WOT? I run methanol and would love to have a backup plan if the methanol quits for whatever reason at wot.

Re: Hey Hey and a couple of questions

That`s undecided at this point. The plan so far is the ST mani but there may be a change to that.

Re: Hey Hey and a couple of questions

That``s good news. It`ll be easier to dial in from where I was since the methanol scaling is already done. I can just introduce timing advance a tiny bit earlier and bring up the load target a couple of tenths and see where it gets me. I`ve got more than enough fuel and was only 35hp away from my go...

Re: Hey Hey and a couple of questions

^^^ scratch that. I`ll have an identical map to the last one I ran. You say I can just load that one and keep tuning from there?
