Re: Am I safe to use this tune?
Yes, the CP-e CAI and the CS SRI have stock-like diameter MAF housings, and also the tune will adjust for fuelling differences.

Re: Pops and Crackles Disappeared
I found that when you let off the gas, you have to very slightly apply a little pressure to the gas pedal to get the pops and crackles to work sometimes. This is pretty much the expected behaviour when not disabling decel fuel cut completely. After logging, noticed that I wasn't dropping below the ...

Re: Disabled DTC still showing up
Check again the list of disabled PIDs displayed in the tune options, sometimes when disabling a PID the VT software re-enables the already disabled ones, or when selecting multiple PIDs to disable it will not disable any of them. The U2064 usually pops up when you connect and/or disconnect the OBD r...

Re: Tuning Troubles
You can raise the load limits to like 2.4-2.5, but the targets not above 2.3-2.35. I hope the rods will never tell you why On a worse fuel however which doesn't allow for too much timing you can go higher, because in the end it's about the cylinder pressure and actual torque.

Re: Tuning Troubles
The safe limits for a stock block is pretty much the limit of factory fuelling in therms of power (350-380bhp, depending on the fuel), and in therms of torque it's around 500-520Nm/370-380lb*ft (which is also the limit of the factory clutch). Also the lower limit of the above mentioned torque values...

Re: Tuning Troubles
More or less this way, basically you set your load limits (not targets) to values that are known to be safe with your setup (depending on your setup, if you have forged internals or not, if you have an upgraded clutch or not, and so on) and then you target boost that will result in an airflow which ...

Re: Tuning Troubles
Yes it is, but it's less consistent and you don't have per-gear control over it, which means you will still have to involve the load limits somehow. The logic of the ECU firmware (which we do not alter, we change only the values in the calibration tables) has more features built for managing the loa...

Re: Tuning Troubles
Do a WOT log in at least 3rd gear for a 6MPS, even 4th if you have space. Virtual dyno will not work accurately with the 6MPS/3MPS BK/gen1 CX7 logs because of the lower logging resolution. If you run a low gear log through it the resolution is even worse.

Re: Tuning Troubles
He has a long way to go up until like 4.8. When hitting the 4.9 limit you will only get a reduction in power and a cel about the MAF performance range or something.

Re: need little guide
Your log file has the column titles shifter right once cel.
Even when you let off, the acceleration pedal position is reported to be 31%. So you may have a problem with the pedal.
