Re: RX8 ignition dwell

i'm not sure where you're getting the max 3.2ms to charge at 9k rpm?? in 1 minute : 60.000ms 60.000ms/9000rpm =6.67ms/rpm Or am i missing something?? Yeah but you're not firing the coil for the entire duration of the compression stroke, are you? Right, so i have 6.67ms total from which i can subtra...

Hey Walle, would you happen to be able to walk me through or share a bit about your process to get the VE table cleaned up? This would be immensely helpful for my learning.

Cheers
Hello,
yes I would be able to do that. I am "back" was sick and thus inactive. :welcome

Re: 4 Port RX8 Tune

yes, you can do a lot with it.
Have you purchased the full license ?

you can adjust the common "issues" like temps, rev limits, etc. define less conservative afr targets and improve the VE table by logging under all driving conditions.

Re: STFT/LTFT Range configuration feature request

you can disable closed loop altogether and than no trims will be built. that wont help with a vacuum leak but that is not often a concern. and a boost leak will only make it richer.. used that when wanted to run 16.5 and leaner AFR for low load (closed loop maxes out at 15.xx, lambda 1.05 )

Re: Live Tune Feature?

Actually very few OEM ECUs on the market support that, or at least dual/multiple tune setups. this is actually not true. but you cant access that protocol with an obd diagnostics tool. every ECU manufacturer ...

Re: Desired torque implications on tuning process

but why would you mess with torque tables ? imho they are also used when ESC , ESP and TC are engaged. could make for a very unpredictable car.
