Re: Boost control solenoid operation

This is a great article, thanks!
It's best to read it together with images, though.

Re: Boost Vs Timing Power

Well, the way I understood is that for each specific engine configuration there is a single timing scheme that produces maximum torque while avoiding knock. Once you find that sweet spot, you won't add power by advancing timing further and will actually make things worse by creating peak pressure be...

Re: Software functions

OK, I found what you are asking for, benp. European HID headlights are mandated to have autolevelers that adjust the beam angle depending on the load of the car (if you put three fat friends on the back seat, the beam is automatically moved downwards to prevent blinding oncoming traffic). And there ...

Re: Software functions

My GT has a manual knob too. Unfortunately, ECU has no access to headlight levelers. And if it had, what would be the use case for this feature?

That will be in the upcoming version. You can see the roadmap for the next version in the announcement thread in the Beta testing subforum.

Re: Load cap

ISO standards specify that expected load range on turbocharged engines is from 0 to 400% :)
BTW absolute load specifies how much air is in the engine compared to its displacement. Naturally aspirated engines can't reach more than 90-95% load.

Re: Load cap

We are currently investigating load cap reasons in the ECU code. We hope to find a way to get rid of it in a nice way that will not cause any troubles with AFRs.
Steve is able to reproduce load capping even with stock turbo and ported head.

Re: 3 BAR MAP

Steve told me he was looking for a male connector to fit the stock MAP connector. The plan is to make a plug and play adapter cable.

Re: 3 BAR MAP

Looks nice!
How plug and play is it? Is connector the only difference?
