That is the correct logging parameter. It's possible that the ECU does not update that PID in open loop.

For now, you can use the VE tables to alter AFRs.

They are not for different markets. They are for specific operating conditions. We are still sorting through the AFR control logic. It is extremely complicated on RX-8s. As we learn more, we will update the table names and descriptions.

MegaSpool uses the stock rev limiter which fuel cut based, not spark cut, so it should not damage the cat if used for a reasonable amount of time. If you use MegaSpool for a really long time, it's possible to damage the cat. That is also true for the stock rev limiter. You should only use MegaSpool ...

There will be additional tunes. We are still working on ways to lower EGT and smooth power delivery.

Under full load with warm ambient temps, you will see spikes up to 800C. Normal cruising EGTs will be much lower.

The higher EGTs are normal when increasing power. It sounds like you're bouncing off of the EGT limits. I will work on a revised tune with slightly lower power.

The ECU logic has Load Limit fuel cut and Boost Limit fuel cut safety measures. They use two different sensors, so it's fully redundant.

If you want a tertiary safety device, GA is the way to go.
