Re: Not hitting load targets
I think there are small differences between the 09 and earlier model genwons. I want to say I had a similar issue with ATR but I don't recall exactly. It wasn't as big of a problem on ATR because I could just dial boost and do hybrid tunes that effectively worked around this issue. Edit: Mituc, don'...

Re: Fan control map
Works on Mazdaspeed 6 and possibly second gen MS3, but doesn't work on first gen Mazdaspeed 3 (might be hard coded).

Re: Tuning for bigger cams
My memory on this could be faulty, but richer should help increase exhaust gas volume + retarded timing makes it hotter, further improving pressure between the piston and turbine. I might be mixing gasoline and diesel knowledge on this though, but cursory thinking says more fuel + same air (as leane...

Re: Tuning for bigger cams
The way I always did VVT was I would do a basemap on spring pressure with 0 VVT commanded across the entire map, then once I had that I would run full VVT until the engine makes spring pressure and taper it from there. From there, you can dial the boost up to what you want to target, but I'd recomme...

Re: Not hitting load targets
Yeah I've read your thread. I vaguely remember having similar issues in the AP where I had to overshoot by .1 but I could be mistaken on that and it's been a long time since I've tuned.

Not hitting load targets
2009 MS3 Stock injectors only Here's the TLDR: Except for spoolup, actual load is 0.100 to 0.180 under lowest target. What's been checked: Every table in load targeting section has been checked/modified; High BAT and Low BAT load by gear is identical and are the lowest set values. Every table in boo...

I'll give that a try and report back.

Re: Bosch 3.5 BAR MAP
I did not and only used this PID to see what it was seeing; does this change the setting for boost as well? If so, why do the other tables exist if they aren't used?
