Re: Low WGDC Values
definitely the sensor. put the OEM one back and all seems kinda normal now. Actual AFR > Desired AFR so atleast I know that's right seeing that I did not have any MAF corrections in for the 3" intake. Also, car boosted perfectly (1.35bar) with no KR. Shot for taking the time and helping me out ...

Re: Low WGDC Values
Ok, I bypassed the BCS and went out to test. Car boosted fine, hit 1.4bar boost. Thinking that maybe the wastegate is leaking or the bcs is stuffed. I thought as much when I purchased the sensor, but wanted to make sure and test it out. Mazda charged me a ridiculous amount so I thought Id take the c...

Re: Low WGDC Values
At the moment im not 2 worried about the maf cal. But something is definately up. The car does not boost, doesnt even break traction which it did with the stock airbox. I have a new MAF sensor BUT its not an OEM sensor. Im going to bypass the bcs as a test to see if there is any change Smackin a GTI...

I just installed a new full intake with an internal diameter of 73mm. I did some calculations and found that the cross sectional diameter difference between ...

Re: WasteGate DC Setup 101: Request.
Im at 5400ft in SA and we get about 230-ish. Obviously with the altitude difference my req load is never = actual load. Is there a way to overcome this baro issue and enable me to hit 1.6 when requesting 1.6 without going BT?

Re: Loads I should be getting
Another thing that weve noticed in South Africa is that ignition timing helps alot at altitude. Id rather request less engine load and advance ignition timing a bit while richening up the afr ratio aswell. But thats just me

Re: Loads I should be getting
It does help but the velocity of the air kinda screws us in the end. Dont know of its just me but with my full 3" system i was hitting the same loads as with the oem intake. This is because im only able to hit around 4.1V compared to the 4.36V with the airbox. I know engine bay temps play a big...
