Re: Low RPM Knock Retard
What intake are you actually using? Is it the one from the signature? Also, can you check the oil and make sure it is not full of gas? You are getting AFRs of 10 even when the commanded is 14.7. And you're getting AFRs of 10.something as well as 15.x when the commanded is 14.7 at the same MAF volta...

Low RPM Knock Retard
Recently experiencing an intermittent lack of power in the 1500-2500 RPM band, mostly around 2000 RPM, especially while cruising in 5th gear. No CEL. Just in case, I replaced the (original?) air fuel ratio sensor. No change. High KR >8 reported in logs using a known stable and modest tune that only ...

Re: Calibrating MAF
Every time after you fix a leak either reflash your tune or disconnect the battery negative terminal to reset all the fuel trims learned while the problem was there. Take a log and we will look at it. I reflashed Friday night after fixing the leak. This log was taken Saturday afternoon with about 4...

Mazdaspeed6 Tune Tables
I’m wondering if it’s possible to get access to the Mazdaspeed6 tunes that are available for that version of VersaTuner. Having a bigger turbo on my CX-7 (and actually my engine is technically a longblock from a MS6, albeit it is identical), I feel as if the adjustments made to the OTS tables are mo...

Calibrating MAF
Thanks, I did find a leak at the TIP. The clamps on the turbo were loose. Tightened them up but still saw over 20% STFT. Took a log Saturday, I’ll post here shortly. It appears that the high STFT occurs around the open loop transition point of 1.25 load. There was one occurrence where it trimmed hig...

Re: Pops and bangs
Will there be one released for the CX-7 also?Ugnius @ VersaTune wrote:We are working on a prebuilt pops and bangs/crackle and pops tune. You cannot achieve that functionality without special changes that will be included in an update that we will release once the tune is done.

Re: Calibrating MAF
Ok thanks for the input. I didn’t hear anything indicative of an exhaust leak prior to the 3” install. The stock downpipe is still installed because I cannot find a 3” for the CX-7. I’m going to get it on the lift tomorrow and check for exhaust leaks before the primary sensor just in case. I was abl...

Calibrating MAF
I just installed a new exhaust and deleted the rear converter. The stock downpipe is still there but the front converter is hollow. I desperately need to get my MAF calibrated. Fuel trims were a little off before, but now the difference is much more significant. I've spent time reading through guide...
