Interface Not Connected

Running up-to-date Windows 10 via Boot Camp on a MacBook Pro. Using VersaLink MongoosePro ISO/CAN2. When attempting to connect to vehicle, no software will recognize that the device is plugged in. The green indicator light on the OBD2 end is flashing fast like normal. In the MongoosePro Configurator...

Re: Tune Turbo Upgrade

I could not find any WOT log among the ones you've sent. However, with a hollowed cat you should check the "Installed catless downpipe" option when flashing the tune. Reply sent in PM. Checking logs again. I forgot to mention that option is checked when tune flashed. What exactly does it ...

Re: Tune Turbo Upgrade

Ambient temps around 75deg, 28% humidity today. Barometric pressure here today 14.818psi. Running 93 octane gasoline (w/ up to 10% ethanol). All regular maintenance is pretty much up-to-date except maybe EGR & intake valve cleaning. Engine and turbo have less than 50k miles on them. 201k miles o...

Re: Tune Turbo Upgrade

Primary catalyst hollowed out. P0421 still comes back after monitors are fully reset after about 150 miles. Disabled DTC. Slightly louder and deeper sound but nothing significant. It was pretty clogged. Somewhat noticeable improvement in engine response and turbo spool. LTFT's have a larger swing (a...

Yeah exhaust is stock. I recently got a DTC P0421 warmup catalyst efficiency, though.

Re: Tune Turbo Upgrade

Got a chance to pull some logs today. In ascending order of time stamp: idle, normal drive, WOT from stop, WOT from cruise, WOT w/ boost PID preset. Barometric pressure today is about 14.6psi. Temperature is 68F and 95% humidity. Logs: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1y2tfynlunbk7y/VersaTuner%20Logs%2012...

Re: Tune Turbo Upgrade

Significant improvement with the MAF calibration. It's not perfect, but certainly better. I've only driven about 25 miles so far with it but LTFTs are mostly within +/- 3%. A couple of spikes up to +/- 7-8% occasionally but I'll wait to see if they settle. Partitions are set at 5.7, 18, 30, 50, 80, ...

Re: Tune Turbo Upgrade

When you swap the struts (OEM springs are ok IMHO) a tower strut brace will be a good addition. Check this out: http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/forum/f123/first-romanian-bt-cx-7-a-219098/ I have both the tower strut brace and a lower/underside brace and the handling is better than a stock 2014+ maz...

Re: Tune Turbo Upgrade

This is the MAF cal I extracted from skiptowncat's tune. They say it doesn't require a calibration because the deviation from OEM is within the accepted limits. https://www.dropbox.com/s/kwo6mli3pr4s760/CS-SRI-MAF-cal.xlsx?dl=0 Awesome, thank you. I'll flash this and report back. Now to get it runn...
