Well I got some issues with my car worked out and ready to get it tuned. No CEL or any apparent problems. Just replaced fuel injector seals and removed VTCS flaps. The HPFP is the same for both a CX-7 and Mazdaspeed3/6. The CX-7 turbo is a smaller K04. If the CS turbo is basically the same size as the MS3/6 turbo, why would the fuel pump internals need to be upgraded immediately?

I plan on upgrading the HPFP internals eventually, but for now just want to maximize performance and reliability with what I'm working with.

Yes. Block is completely stock except the bolt on mods I mentioned.
