I suggest to use the MAP values as safety limits and not target them at this point. Use the factory logic based on load because it simply works best.

Re: Tuning Troubles
Where can I find the WGDC for the setup? Boost Control -> BCS DC Base Extended. I read not too long ago where I saw you say you can set all values to 0 then set the increase amount to 100% and let the ECU decide where it wants it. Then implement those in and repeat a couple times till it settles. I...

Re: Tuning Troubles
What's the process in tuning the BCS DC? You just look at what WGDC is required for your setup to reach the set load target and you put that value in for 70-ish APP and up, and then interpolate linearly with what's below - or you pull those intermediate load values from some normal driving logs ins...

Re: Tuning Troubles
Just set the throttle reduction MAP limits to like 246-248kPa and the fuel cut MAP limits to 252/254. The factory MAP sensor will read up to 256-257kPa and 252 is not a problem. The factory turbo is capable of 240-245-ish kPa MAP with very free flowing breathing mods so at least past 5k RPM it will ...

Re: Tuning Troubles
Well, you are reaching and exceeding the throttle reduction MAP limits. That's the reason you do not see any increase.

Re: Pops and bangs
You should check with your tuner. You can't edit the tunes from a Pro Tuner.

Re: P2610 after Reflash with the new Version
Ok, the error came back. Previous owner doesn't have the original firmware file VIN.bck any more. Not sure how to go about this one. Since the check engine comes back only after the car is started cold after sitting a while and not during driving it I'm kind of tempted to suppress this PID from vers...

Re: P2610 after Reflash with the new Version
I experienced this as well on a friend's car. So this is the context: - his version1 Versalink cable failed while flashing a new tune, right after the "deleting previous tune" message; - as a result, his car remained where it was because the engine could nto start; - because I did not know...

Re: Big turbo and CX-7 automatic transmission
Also just to clarify a few things: everybody talks about the intake manifold imbalance and then merges this information together with the cylinder 3 ZZBs. Actually the imbalance comes from the fact that cylinder 4 receives the least amount of air, and cylinder 2 (not 3!!!) the largest amount, by jus...

Re: Big turbo and CX-7 automatic transmission
The intake manifold imbalance is not a problem. The exhaust manifold imbalance is the greatest enemy of these engines in addition to the heat radiating from the turbo to the engine block right where cylinder 3 is. Get the exhaust manifold first, keep the intake manifold for now, you will be fine. I'...
