Re: Mx5 NC1 1.8 Manual Idle Issue.
I'll see if I can record a good log on the way in to work tomorrow (roughly 20 min drive) I don't know if that will be too long? Only catch the problem in that log. If it can be reproduced then start logging before triggering the problem, trigger it, stop logging 4-5-10 seconds later. If you take a...

Re: Mx5 NC1 1.8 Manual Idle Issue.
Can you please take a log when that happens? Make sure you log both short and long term fuel trims, engine RPM, timing advance, throttle position, and if you have available on the platform also the desired throttle position. I assume this issue is not present with the factory tune, right? What about...

Re: Desired AFR
As far as I can see you leaned out the factory MAF calibration for some reason, so the desired always sits around stoich because the ECU reads lean continuously because of the significantly leaner MAF cal (about 10%). You did not log load in your log, but by looking at the tune and the log you never...

Re: Speed 3 1st gen wont idle
Well, you need a MAF calibration for that intake. The engine will not stay running with such a big difference in air flow. Download the MAF calibration from here: https://corksport.com/support/instructi ... ration.txt and add it to your tune.

Re: Unable to Update
Probably it passed more than 1 year since your last update. Log into your account at versatuner.com, go to Versatuner -> Licenses and Downloads -> Versatuner Downloads, download Versatuner run that file to perform update. See if that works, it should. Once you do that you should be able to download ...

Re: ND1 Turbo with 3Bar MAP sensor has a limit around 5500rpm
Ok, and what tune are you using? Did you change any of the existing tunes, you're using an OTS tune, a custom tune made by somebody else? Can you post it here?

Re: Learn values
Every system has default calibrations. However, these things may have variations from the defaults which are more like a point of reference rather than a target. By example air flow. The same volume of air at a given temperature and atmospheric pressure will have a different weight (actual mass) at ...

If you have HPFP internals and you do not enjoy the pops&bangs I suggest you try the high load + cai + racepipe after you install all these mods...

Re: Question about MAP sensor settings
Yes this is just a reiteration of the old Bosch 3BAR MAP sensor, so you can use offset 5.41, scalar 1 = 65.78 and scalar 2 = 1
