Re: Tuning Troubles
Well, you are reaching and exceeding the throttle reduction MAP limits. That's the reason you do not see any increase.

Re: Pops and bangs
You should check with your tuner. You can't edit the tunes from a Pro Tuner.

Re: P2610 after Reflash with the new Version
Ok, the error came back. Previous owner doesn't have the original firmware file VIN.bck any more. Not sure how to go about this one. Since the check engine comes back only after the car is started cold after sitting a while and not during driving it I'm kind of tempted to suppress this PID from vers...

Re: P2610 after Reflash with the new Version
I experienced this as well on a friend's car. So this is the context: - his version1 Versalink cable failed while flashing a new tune, right after the "deleting previous tune" message; - as a result, his car remained where it was because the engine could nto start; - because I did not know...

Re: Big turbo and CX-7 automatic transmission
Also just to clarify a few things: everybody talks about the intake manifold imbalance and then merges this information together with the cylinder 3 ZZBs. Actually the imbalance comes from the fact that cylinder 4 receives the least amount of air, and cylinder 2 (not 3!!!) the largest amount, by jus...

Re: Big turbo and CX-7 automatic transmission
The intake manifold imbalance is not a problem. The exhaust manifold imbalance is the greatest enemy of these engines in addition to the heat radiating from the turbo to the engine block right where cylinder 3 is. Get the exhaust manifold first, keep the intake manifold for now, you will be fine. I'...

Re: Big turbo and CX-7 automatic transmission
The reason i usability. CX7 is a big boat. Almost 2 metric tons. That's the reason why with automatic transmission it came with a tiny turbo that makes peak torque at 2500rpm and peak power at only 5000, because with a larger turbo on that automatic transmission such a large car would be a nightmare...

Re: Big turbo and CX-7 automatic transmission
We have an US Spec automatic transmission CX7 in the Romanian community, I suggested the owner to get a BNR S3 and then I tuned it. It's still on factory intake and factory exhaust (including factory cats), but it makes decent power eating up like 270-280g/s of air peak. I did not want to push his a...

Re: Custom Build , self tuned ...weird data.
With WMI you should command like 11.2AFR for now (until you are sure things are good, then lean it even more up to 11.9-12.1). To make it work you will have to adjust your MAF calibration down. That's the reason why the desired AFR will go to stoich, because the ECU kind of shits itself when it sees...
