This is by design. VersaTuner only allows one running instance to prevent multiple instances from trying to modify a single database. We can add a command line switch that will allow you to start another instance when necessary.

usually edit button is not enabled when the tune is for a different platform. For example, you can not import a tune for 2nd gen Mazda 3 MPS and use it on a 1st gen Mazda 3 MPS.
