Re: Map editing
Aww, my beta license ran out. I don't want to be left with no tune so I'll have to just take it easy until I can get a new license. A courtesy email to say this was happening today wouldn't have gone amiss! oh well, do I need to go through the whole ordering process or will you take payment and then just re-enable the tuning feature? Any discount for beta testers

Re: Map editing
You're hitting the MAP limit for throttle closure. Try reducing req load by .1 at 2500 and 3000.

Re: Map editing
Alright, I'm back!!
Made Afr richer, targeting 11.6 now and then starts tapering down at 4.5k to red line.
Noticed that in the dbw throttle table the maximum value is now 100%, I thought the throttle could only open around 75% anyway. So is 80% in the table 80% of the actual throttle position or is 80% actually 100% throttle... If you get what I mean?

Re: Map editing
80% drives the DBW motor enough to open the throttle as far is it can go which is around 76%.

Made the proposed changes, cars running a lot better now. I'll post some logs over the weekend.

Re: Map editing
Fitted my grimmspeed ebcs yesterday, what a PITA. Allowed myself an hour, it took nearly three!!
First off I couldn't get to the wastegate because the bolts for the jubilee clips on the tip were in the way, by the time I had got that off it was going dark. Then I dropped the 6mm to 4mm reducer down the back of the engine, so I got a torch but the batteries ran out, then I got an inspection lamp an the bulb went. I finally managed to sort it using the flash on my iPhone as a torch!!
On the plus side, boost is a lot smoother now but the car doesn't feel as fast. I'll have to put my own values in the BCS base table, and I'm confident I could now perform keyhole surgery!!

Re: Map editing
Hello,
I'm from Spain and I put the tune I've done on 98 octane high load. The car has front-ic, direct intake at 2.75 "and grimmspeed solenoid. Attach the file and a log into 4 gear (WOT) (only the first 20 seconds, I forgot to stop ...).
What do you think?
regards

Re: Map editing
Nice log. I see some knock on 3rd pull, what about AFR's, hopefully not too lean? Looks quite similar to mine when my MAF calibration was off. Fuel pressure would be interesting to see as well, mine dropped, I had to upgrade pump internals.

Re: Map editing
I have ordered the kit AutoTech. Tomorrow I will make a log of pressure pump. TFSI engines are very poor and do not break ....I hope my car resists.
I want to buy a pyrometer to check EGT and adjust AFR.
