Probably you can add about 8-10 litters of methanol in your tank before filling it and you will get some gas with a higher octane rating :)

New Base 93/98 High Load Tune Coming Soon

Post by Kevin »

Thanks guys. Fuel in South Africa is really bad. Best fuel we get here is Shell 95 and thats not even 100% 95. definately need to spray meth to keep the octane levels up and also to cool mixtures. It gets crazy hot here.

You can increase the high bat/ect retard to deal with the heat. It will just be sluggish when it's hot. Better safe than sorry :)

No sorry. The tunes are not directly interchangeable. I can use some of the tables to build a similar tune for the 6. I would need a stock 6 to dyno test with to confirm everything is happy.

Some time in the next few days. I need to give it one more look through just to double check everything.

I have updated the database with the latest dyno tested High Load tune. Expect traction problems in lower gears.....

The main changes are Fuel AFR, Spark Timing, VVT, and Load Targets. I also tweaked the accel/decel req load tables to help with boost spikes.

Enjoy :)
