Bosch 3.5 BAR MAP

Lo all, long time no see.

Having an issue with an Edge bought MAP PN: 0 281 002 456;
I've tried the following combinations but wind up about 40 kPa off (low) of ambient (on each one):

MAP Scale Additive: -12.5
MAP Scale Base Multiplier: 319.1489
MAP Scale Second Multiplier: 0.2352941

MAP Scale Additive: -12.5
MAP Scale Base Multiplier: 312.5
MAP Scale Second Multiplier: 0.24

MAP Scale Additive: -12.5
MAP Scale Base Multiplier: 75
MAP Scale Second Multiplier: 1

It's almost like the settings aren't taking hold in the map.

Any advice?

The more I think about this the more it seems like the flash won't take the values or there's some kind of odd bug going on.

I've been running the third grouping since forever ago and I don't think it ever worked right (showed no boost on 2019/04/20), but I also have updated VT today so I don't know if that's a factor or not.

As a quick side note, I did a spreadsheet for the values in the third group (-12.5, 75, 1) and it came out to my actual elevation kPa when KOEO (1.02v, 89 kPa) but the dashboard was still reading in the low 50s after a reflash.

Is it possible for you to go back to an older version of VT?
I noticed than when importing older maps in the newer/latest version of VT some values are silently reset to default and that will not even show up in a map comparison.

I could make a new map from scratch. Would that be a sufficient test? I'm not so far in that it would be a chore to do this.

Edit:
I also updated these values just before a reflash so that shouldn't be the same issue (adjusting on desktop, flashing on tablet, but tablet shows the proper values still even after flash).

Looks like the offset might need to be positive; going to test that tomorrow.

No love; using the following:

MAP Scale Additive: +12.5
MAP Scale Base Multiplier: 300
MAP Scale Second Multiplier: 0.25

Ambient still reads 53 KPA and 1.02v

Downloaded and edited a brand new map using the above values. Still 53 kPa and 1.02v KOEO.

OK so, realized that "allow unsafe values" was not enabled on my tablet, so I enabled it then reflashed. 53 kPa absolute manifold pressure and 1.02v KOEO.

Edited the map on the tablet, set all nine MAP values back to stock.... 53 kPa and 1.02v.

Basically, it's not taking the settings and in order to get accurate boost numbers I either have to do the math for every log (and know that boost isn't accurate at all on the dashboard) or buy and install a factory MAP sensor.

Is there anything else that can be done other than rolling back to an older version (that I don't have an installer for)?

Out of curiosity, did you select the 3.5 bar sensor in the logger parameter and customize the "Intake manifold pressure sensor" to be 3.5bar? Here's a picture with my shit laptop editing.... lol

I did not and only used this PID to see what it was seeing; does this change the setting for boost as well? If so, why do the other tables exist if they aren't used?
