Advice Needed: First Ride Analysis & Next Steps for Mazdaspeed6 with Upgraded Intercooler

Hi everyone,
I'm new to VersaTuner and would appreciate some advice on how to proceed with my setup. Here's a summary of my car and recent changes:
1. My Current Setup
Car: Mazdaspeed6 / Mazda 6 MPS (JMZGG82L601701331)
Aftermarket Intercooler:
Core Thickness: 76mm (vs. ~50mm stock) — better cooling, reduced heat soak
Drops IATs by 10–20°C under boost compared to stock
Supports up to ~1.3 bar boost (Stage 2 tunes)
Software: VersaTuner
OBD Connection: Openport 2.0
2. First Ride Analysis Summary
My initial data logging showed (analyzed by AI):
Inconsistent air/fuel ratios during load transitions (lean during initial acceleration)
Significant ECU corrections (-10% to +20% fuel trims)
Good overall airflow but noticeable dips in mid-range
Potential throttle body synchronization issues
No thermal issues (ambient temp 9°C)
Current injector duty cycle maxed around 12%
3. Prebuilt Map Selection
Given my setup, which of the prebuilt VersaTuner maps would you recommend as a starting point? My main goal is to first get maximum from the current setup when it comes at least to stable and secure performance.
4. HPFP Internals (CorkSport)
Do I need to install the CorkSport HPFP internals (I have it already) right away, or is it safe to run a prebuilt map with the stock internals for now?
5. Request for Advice
I'd appreciate any advice on:
Which map to start with given my analysis results
Whether to prioritize the HPFP upgrade
If I should address the throttle body sync issue before tuning
Best practices for further logging and tuning
Thanks in advance for your help!
