BNR S3 with Grimmspeed 3 port - Running on Spring Pressure

by Jugmeister » March 20th, 2016, 12:42 pm

Planning on installing a BNR S3 next weekend so i'm wanting to start off on spring pressure before tuning. I'm running the Base 93US/98EU High Load - Grimmspeed Interrupt OTS map.

Wondering how i can achieve this, from what i have read (i think) i need to reduce the cells in the BCS DC Base Extended table to 0%. Is it really that simple or are there other things than need to be changed with having the Grimmspeed BCS in interrupt mode?

Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks.

Set "BCS DC Adjustment Limit - Increase" to zero as well or you will get up to 20% duty cycle.

I know this is old but I'm getting ready to install the same setup. What do I need to do to tune for this setup. I'm new to the mazda speed 6 but have tuned a eclipse 4g63. Is there a tuning guide somewhere? Just need to understand the tables that or out there. Any help you can provide would be great.

So you can start load one of the high load tunes, zero out all the "BCSDC Base" table and see where spring pressure gets you. Once you see that you can start populating that table.

Just look at the tables in the tune and if you tuned an eclipse already you will figure things out pretty quickly.

As for tuning guides - you can look around and compare the tunes you have available on-line, also look on these posts here:

Okay so I'm ready to try my hand a load tuning but unsure where to start exactly. Which tables should I start with? I running the a BNR stage 3, downpipe, upgraded top mount, and 3 bar map. Also have the hpfp internal which I will be installing. I'm just not clear on which of the load tables I should be changing.
thanks

This is that moment when you should start looking for an e-tuner.
