What sort of relationship info are you looking for?

My question is based around the file you converted for me. It has no closed loop tables modified. Only 4 open loop tables were changed.

1: Why does my Dashhawk show the extra advance in closed loop mode?

2: What are the thresholds for closed, transition and open loop points?

3: Is there a calculation I can use to determine what the final ignition advance will be?

As always,thank you!
:D

When in CL, it uses the CL table, when it transitions, it uses the transition table, when in OL, it uses the OL table. The ECU uses linear interpolation between cells and between tables as it transitions. The transition timers are the Closed Loop Open Loop Transition Timers in the Absolute Limits section of tune editor. The thresholds are base on load and APP and are in the Absolute Limits section too. I don't think they are calculated. They are based on lookups. It's been a while since I looked at the timing code. I'll go through it again and see if I can get more info.

Steve...

I have noticed a change in table names in the 1.6.0 release. Considering this, are you able to define how the advance is calculated?

This would help me understand how my tuned file works.

Thanks..!!!
