Grimmspeed BCS for Mazda CX7.

Post by Sassimac »

Hi There...

I am wondering if the Grimmspeed BCS is better at controlling boost spiking between gears (remember the CX7 is auto) than the stock BCS.

It's not hard to get 16psi, but the 19psi spikes between gears are not making me really happy. I do appreciate that spikes can be controlled via tables. Is the Grimspeed worth the effort?

Thanks.

The Grimmspeed will help some. There are limits to what can be done with the tiny wastegate on the K04. Tuning with the accel/decel tables will control it pretty well.
