interesting thought about AP to VT switch

Post by VoodooJef »

It is my thought that the "correct" way would be to unmarry the AP and then go forward from there, and it`s honestly the plan. But since my tune on the AP is already pretty dialed, would VT be able to read it off of the ECU? Or would all hell break loose if I went to install VT over the AP map?

AP locks the ECU when it is "married" and prevents other tuning tools from reading or writing over it. You need to unmarry it first or you will get an error when trying to install VersaTuner.
