What is the max APP percentage you are seeing? I've seen a lot of Gen2's that don't go to 100% More like 75% ish. What is everyone else seeing?

Max Ive seen is 75% as well. Been doing alot of adjustment of tune since I learned that it only goes to 75%.

Is this a general issue? 75% sounds more like throttle position numbers, nu APP.

I shimmed mine and got it to 83% Previously it was hitting the floor and stopping at around 75% I verified that it is getting the max travel that is mechanically possible.

None of the Gen2 logs I've seen hit 100% APP

Interestingly, it fails the Mazda IDS health check on the APP test.

So i what happens if we mess with the APP Calibration? Set 70% APP to Request 100%?

or set the APP Req Load tables to request your max load by 75% ish.

On my gen2 CX-7, the logs shows that the minimum APP at idle is 31%, and the maximum APP at WOT is 76%!?!?

Does this mean that the lower and upper parts of my "APP requested load" table are worthless?

I'm still looking at how the real APP number is determined by the ECU. I'm surprised to see a min APP of 31% though.

I guess the best option should be to tune with the "requested load X gear", so the APP% wont matter

Here is a log that show the APP at idle and WOT (all my log show the same patern)
