Gry, Blk and Blue smoke

Post by Edain »

Hello,
Can anyone tell me why after flashing my car it starts emitting black, gray and blue smoke at idle?
Note: I only activate the torque release, launch control without megaspool boxes.
Maybe the car has to take the new values and drive a few miles to calibrate it?
Note: after a few minutes the car stops smoking.
Does not have OEM downpipe,
It does not have any DCT on,
no engine failures.
Turbo is OK.

You can always flash your car back to stock and see what happens, but this smoke has nothing to do with the new tune which is pretty much identical with the stock tune (actually the OTS tunes are 100% identical with the stock tune in the low load areas).

Also you have to look at how the weather looks like. If the air is cold and/or humid it is absolutely normal to see some so-called smoke (which is actually condensation) coming out of the exhaust. Every car does that. Also, a cold car would do that regardless. So if this symptom disappears after the car/engine warm up then it's all good, and it'/s just a normal phenomenon which you probably did not notice before and only now because once you flashed a new tune you became more preoccupied about various things (which is also expected).
