Should I get the Lite or Full?

Post by justint5387 »

I have a lightly modified S1 RX-8 with a K&N intake and cat delete that I will be using for track days. I plan to get the versatuner mostly for the OTS tunes and removing the CEL light from the cat. I do not plan on modifying the tunes and what not.

Would you recommend me getting the lite or the full version for this case?

Thanks

If you are going to be satisfied with the OTS tunes and just disabling a few PIDs that currently light up the check engine light then the lite version is what you need. If you plan to modify the tune or use tunes that are not in the database or from Versatuner approved e-tuners then you will need the full version.
So for now get the lite version, if you will need the full you can upgrade at any time.
