another tune to start with other than provided

Not sure what your asking, are you asking of a modified tune to start with or factory tune to start with.

The program works where you copy your preexisting tune from your car and when you create a new tune it automatically starts from the tune copied from your car.

When you create a new tune by clicking "New..." in the Tunes tab, the new tune is based on the factory calibration.
